@02:01I keep forgetting Build a bear is an american company, being so used to seeing tv adverts during the holidays.

I hope nobody wants a doll like Chipper after seeing this though; because I won't be making any reproductions of Chipper nor any other dolls like him due to how long it actually took to make him and how hard it was to make the wire-frame inside him (the wires in his right arm and right foot have already broken with too much rough handling during the posing for the video, so now they don't bend all the way like his other limbs do), unless a commissioner is willing to pay a pretty big price and be willing to wait for quite a long time.
However I plan to make different toys in the future hopefully with some help from my cousin Andrew Teal.

Finally, I reveal my secret project! This is what these little concept sketches [link] were for. :w00t:

No real storyline, just a brief collage of Chipper's life-style and his ambitions. XD

This fuzzy stuffed animal I designed took me two frigging years to finish making; he's made out of latex with foam, fluff and wire inside him, fur is glued and sewn onto him, and his horns and claws are made of sculpyIII.
For the animation itself; only took two days to take all the photos and do some filming, the actual editing and getting all the video and music/sound together took just this week. All finished before the 'supposed' end of the world (which it wasn't). :phew: Unfortunately Chipper actually has pretty limited wire movement especially in his legs (he can't sit down hardly) which is an issue I'll have to address in future toy projects which I already have planned for 2013 along side my werewolf project.

Yeah I know the camera quality isn't great (I need a bigger and better camera really) and I accidentally left hair-brushes on the sofa in some shots which I didn't have the time nor patience to edit out, but it's not bad for a little pet project. it's only a little add-on to my university portfolio next year. ^^;
I don't think this is bad for my second attempt at stop-motion, but please keep any negative comments about the quality to yourself; any offensive comments will be hidden and the commenter will be blocked.

If anybody has trouble seeing in on DA, it's also on my youtube account too: [link] ^_^

Thanks, the actual animation actually only took a week or two, it was the making of Chipper himself that took such a long time. :phew:

Well sort of well done; the camera quality was not as great as it was with my first stop-motion of Der Erlkonig (no clue why) but at least it's got 50 views on youtube so far, and unfortunately two wires inside Chipper have now broken so his right arm in the shoulder-joint and his right foot/toes don't bend all the way anymore. One of the reasons why I won't be making a copy Chipper or any more toys like him as I once planned to do a long time ago. ^^;

@02:01it was a bit embarrassing at first for me, a 22 year old, taking a stuffed toy to a teddy-clothes shop for trying out clothes on him ^^;...but the stuff build a baer makes it's pretty good and some of it would actually fit a real chihuahua.

Which one does she work at?
