Don't sleep for too long...I want my cloak back.

As NightShroud was coming up to the registration office, she heard something. Something rather loud, not growling but snoring. Curiously NightShroud took a peak into the room opposite and found the source of the snores. Lavvy was fast asleep face down on a desk surrounded by piles of books, all of which were about combat, wolves and bats. Looks like she'd been studying again about ways to get stronger and how to beat a bat. She'd been doing it an awful lot lately and it looked like she'd been so tired from it all that she'd fallen asleep right in the middle of reading one of the books. NightShroud stared at Lavvy for a while before unclipping her cloak from her armor and wrapping her cloak over Lavvy like a blanket. "I want my cloak back so don't sleep for too long." NightShroud whispered as she quietly and carefully placed something down next to Lavvy, making sure not to wake her up.

But as NightShroud was leaving, Lavvy groggily opened one eye. "Mmm...hmm?...N-Night...Shroud?" Lavvy mumbled as she caught a blurry glimpse of NightShroud leaving the room. Then Lavvy looked to the little box NightShroud had left for her. Tiredly she reached a half-limp hand to it and opened it. Inside it was a tiny card and something else, but before she looked to see what it was she opened the card and read that instead:
"I remember you saying that you don't remember your past, so you might've forgotten your own birthday...but today is actually the day you and I first met, and I never did get a chance to ever give you a present like you did me...so I'm giving you one now, so just pretend it's your birthday. P.S. Merry Christmas, scruffbag."

Lavvy then took a look at what was hidden under the card. It was a sharp arrow-head made out of solid opalite gem. it was so beautiful and smooth, such a light shade of blue like ocean water yet you could see into it and through it like a crystal ball, and it was so sharp...it could easily slit someone's throat, no way was it safe for just some small piece of decorative jewelry or ornament, it had purpose (deadly purpose at that). NightShroud once told Lavvy that opalite gemstones were very important to Dark Landers and they all wore one on their armor, but only NightShroud's family had small weapons like arrows and daggers carved out of them. This one must have belonged to NightShroud...that or she had made it herself, which was not unbelievable, Lavvy had already seen the kind of crazy stuff NightShroud can make.
