New costume design: Caora Fatyr

...What? I don't just do werewolves and NightShroud you know, I do none scary things too, albeit rarely. (It's also been a long while since I last did cute manga girl style).

Yes, I actually started making the costume in the spring but I've only just got round to making the 'blue prints' for her now. lol blue prints are supposed to come first before the actual making. XD Resin horns, hooves and rubber soles are all done, most of the materials are gathered, just need to find some fake black or brown wool and the right color fur for the pants now. I plan to try and pull off a way for the feet to be interchangable from digigrade to plantigrade, so that the wearer can give their feet a rest whenever they get tired from walking on their tiptoes. NOTE: I am NOT doing these as commissions now! It's just a pet project to test my new industrial sewing machine on and help me practice using the machine! So this project may or may not work! Fingers crossed though.

A Faun/Satyr hybrid (one brought up by Orcs at that) is a new idea I sprung up like I did with the Raccoon-fox I drew a while back, and yes I know you're all gonna ask this now: "What's the difference between a faun and a satyr?" Well fauns are what you see in Narnia and Disney's Fantasia; the half human half goat or deer, all cute and musical. Then you have Satyrs, in folklore satyrs are pictured as half human half ram or goat only they have a more animalistic or even demonic appearance than fauns e.g. often depicted having the head of a ram or goat and the tail of a horse (in Greek mythology they also always have a boner for some bizarre reason but lets just forget about that part). I don't think there's much of a difference in personality with the two species, but the concept of a hybrid was still interesting to me.

Now what kingdom am I talking about in Fate's profile? I don't know either. This costume's gonna be made for LARPing specifically more than conventions I think, so I'll just say kingdom because every LARP game has it's own different world and kingdoms.

(The poison bracelet is something I bought at a steampunk market, it's so cool! Too bad the poisons aren't real.)
