Shouldn't there be some vampires here?

Not exactly the right monster crowd for an author who follows in his ancestor's footsteps writing vampire novels, instead of vampires he gets werewolves and other hairy critters! XD But he loved us at the con nonetheless, in fact he asked me and to make a guest appearance on stage for his lecture on Bram Stoker and Dracula's origins (don't know if the video's on youtube or Dacre's Facebook page, but I'm sure it's floating around the internet somewhere since all the other horrorcon lectures are).
And thank god he's not a fan of 'sparkle-pires' either! Then again I don't think any authors of stories about Dracula are. :3

But seriously there was only ONE vampire in the entire building, for a horrorcon with countless vampire authors and vampire-actors like Tom Savini, you would think vampire-costumers would be flocking to the convention in rabid hordes...O.o maybe they were scared off by the number of werewolves and other animal-beasties there. lol
